  1. Wash and dry the gooseberry.

  2. With a knife cut the gooseberries into small pieces and remove the seed.

  3. Dry roast  fenugreek, mustard and sesame seeds and powder in a mixer.

  4. Heat the oil in a pan and add the gooseberry pieces and fry till the pieces get soft.

  5. Add asofoetida, turmeric,salt, red chilli powder, the ground powder to the gooseberry  and mix well.

  6. Allow to cool and transfer to a clean container.
